Let’s keep this simple: At 📨🚕 your data is yours. We don’t want it. We don’t collect it. We don’t sell it.

So here’s what we actually do (and don’t do):

Personal Information

To use 📨🚕, you’ll need to create a user account. When signing up, you’ll provide an email address (used as your login) and choose a password. Together, this is your Registration Information.

What We Do With Your Personal Information

Your personal information is used to:

• Provide and operate the service you signed up for
• Send you important notices related to your account or service usage
• Help with internal troubleshooting
• Enforce our Terms of Use and protect the platform from misuse

We collect information solely to improve our website and the quality of our service. We do not sell or share your data with anyone—person, company, or organization, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes. The only exceptions are:

• If required to investigate, prevent, or take action against illegal activity, suspected fraud, threats to personal safety, violations of our Terms of Service, or when legally obligated to do so
• If we are ever acquired or merged with another company, but we’ll notify you before your information is transferred and subject to a new privacy policy
• If we need to share limited information with trusted service providers (or “sub-processors” under the EU GDPR) who help us run the service behind the scenes

The following companies may be considered “sub-processors” under EU GDPR:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Hosting)
• The Constant Company, LLC (“Vultr”) (Hosting)
• Backblaze, Inc. (Data storage)
• BunnyWay d.o.o. (Content Delivery Network)
• Plus Five Five, Inc. (“Resend”) (Sending transactional emails)

In addition, the following companies may also be considered “sub-processors” under EU GDPR due to their platforms being offered as routing targets:

• Telegram Messenger Inc.
• The Matrix.org Foundation CIC & New Vector Limited trading as Element
• Mastodon gGmbH

Cookies

No cookies, except if you log into the console. Then we set a session cookie to know that you’re logged in. We don’t use that for anything else, though.

We also don’t have tracking pixels. Or “personalized experiences”. We’re not here to “enhance engagement” or “collect insights”. Honestly, we don’t know what your favorite color is, and that’s exactly how we like it.

If you visit our website, we don’t log your IP, your browser, your device, or what sandwich you had for lunch. We genuinely don’t care. However, we might not be able to prevent our providers from doing so. (see “sub-processors”)

Logging

We don’t keep records of the data you run through 📨🚕. We do, however, store the content of the latest data package that hits a user application to be able to display it in the console and thereby assist with configuration and debugging. However, the moment the next incoming data package hits that same application, the previously stored data is replaced with the new one. You are able to turn off this behavior in the application settings, in which case no data is ever being stored.

The only time we might temporarily log anything else is to fix a bug or stop spam – but that’s rare, short-lived, and as anonymous as possible. And when we say “temporarily” we mean it. Those logs self-destruct faster than your last New Year’s resolution.

Storage

We only store what’s necessary to run your account. That means your username (which is your email address) and your configured applications (obviously). That’s about it. We don’t ask for your phone number, your backup email, your pet’s name, or your childhood trauma.

To store this data, as well as run the service, we use service providers. (see “sub-processors”)

Gone means gone

You want to delete your account? Press the big red button on the settings page and poof, gone. Like, gone-gone. No ghost records. No “archived for legal purposes”. Just digital dust in the wind.

Disclosure

We comply with the law, but we won’t go out of our way to build surveillance backdoors for anyone. If the feds knock, we’ll politely explain that we don’t have the data they’re looking for. Because we genuinely don’t. However, if they come knocking with subpoenas and heavy allegations, we, like everyone else in this world, are going to have to comply and hand over the little data we have.

Nothing is Permanent

We may update this policy at any time. When we do, however, we will notify you about it, most likely by sending you an email to the email address used on your 📨🚕 account, or by adding a big banner that you will notice, somewhere in the console .

TL;DR:

We don’t track you. We don’t read any of the messages you route through 📨🚕 unless you ask us to. We don’t want your data and we hence try to keep it at a minimum.
