The Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC), which consolidated the Manila Administrative Centre (established in 2002) and the Panama Administrative Centre (established in 2007), centralizes transactional human resources, finance, payroll, supply chain, information technology, administration and other related services. This consolidation aligns with structural realignment objectives of the UN80 Initiative and modernizes IOM’s back office through standardized processes, digital tools, stronger governance and increased sustainability to better support programme delivery.
The Resilience Campaign is IOM’s strategic appeal to safeguard the foundations of its global field operations powering crisis response, technical expertise, compliance and leadership in the world’s most fragile and high-risk environments. Amid rising global instability IOM seeks flexible funding to keep critical enabling functions strong so IOM can operate safely, efficiently and at scale.
