Central govt extends PM E-DRIVE subsidy timeline for registered E2W, E3W till March 31, 2028

Union Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has revised the PM E-DRIVE (PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement) subsidy scheme's guidelines for registered electric 3-wheelers and electric 2-wheelers. With the new guidelines, the subsidy timeline has been extended for electric 3-wheelers (E3Ws), including e-rickshaws and e-carts, till 31st March 2028. Similarly, the terminal date for electric 2-wheelers has been extended to 31st July 2026.
