Justin Papp, a politics reporter for CNBC in Washington, D.C., has more than a decade of experience in local and national news.

He worked for four years at CQ Roll Call, where he covered Congress, wrote features and reported on insurance regulation and policy. He started his career in local news in Connecticut, working at several Hearst Connecticut newspapers, including the Norwalk Hour and Stamford Advocate.

Justin graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's in English literature.
