GRSE

Shares of state-run Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) rallied as much as 16% to their day’s high of Rs 3,339 on the NSE after it reported a net profit of Rs 303 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, up 24% YoY. The revenue from operations rose 29% YoY to Rs 2,119 crore in Q4FY26. The stock finally ended at Rs 3,072.70, up 6.87%.

Canara HSBC Life

Shares of Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company rallied as much as 10% to their day’s high of Rs 149 on the NSE on Wednesday after it reported a nearly 9% increase in net profit to Rs 35 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2026. Net premium collected during the quarter rose to Rs 3,061 crore, compared with Rs 2,703 crore a year earlier. The stock finally closed at Rs 146.17, up 7.23%.

Star Health

The shares of Star Health and Allied Insurance Company surged more than 13% on Wednesday after the company reported a strong surge in net profit to Rs 111.34 crore for Q4 FY26, from Rs 51 lakh in Q4 FY25, beating brokerage estimates. The stock finally settled at Rs 533.25, rising 3% over the Tuesday closing price.

CEAT

The shares of CEAT rallied 12% intraday on Wednesday after the company reported a whopping 145% surge in its consolidated net profit to Rs 243.85 crore in Q4. The tyre-maker’s revenue from operations rose over 23% YoY to Rs 4,219 crore. The stock finished 3% higher at Rs 3,625.10.

Vedanta

Shares of Vedanta ended 4.6% higher at Rs 773.60 on the NSE after the company reported a strong set of numbers. The metal major reported a 92% YoY surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 6,698 crore in Q4. The company's total revenues from operations in Q4FY26 stood at Rs 24,609 crore, rising 47% YoY.

REC

Shares of REC today fell nearly 5% intraday before closing the session at Rs 363.55, 3.26% lower on the NSE after the power PSU reported a 22% YoY drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,375 crore in Q4FY26. Revenue from operations declined 5% to Rs 14,564 crore.

Cohance Lifesciences

Shares of Cohance Lifesciences ended 5.22% down at Rs 467.55 on the NSE amid profit booking following a stellar two-session rally in the stock that saw it surge 36%. The rally followed after the company informed that former Cipla CEO Umang Vohra will lead it as Executive Chairman & Group CEO from next month. Vohra succeeds Vivek Sharma, who steps down as Executive Chairman for personal reasons.

Shares of The India Cements settled 4% lower at Rs 401.85, witnessing their second successive fall following a strong rally post its Q4 earnings. The UltraTech Cement subsidiary reported a 300% jump in its consolidated March quarter net profit.
