Jithil P Ponnan liked thisJithil P Ponnan liked thisHe checked his phone again. No emails. No updates. Just silence. Last week, he had an interview. It went well. At least, that’s what he thought. They smiled. They said, “We’ll get back to you soon.” It’s been 7 days. Now he’s questioning everything: “Did I say something wrong?” “Was I not good enough?” “Why does this keep happening?” And the truth is… Sometimes, it’s not about skill. It’s not about experience. It’s just… silence from the other side. After 9+ years in hiring, I’ve seen this too often. Candidates don’t just face rejection. They face uncertainty. And uncertainty is heavier. If you’re in hiring — A simple update can make a big difference. Because behind every application is someone trying. Every single day. #jobsearch #hiring #recruitment #careers #candidateexperience

Jithil P Ponnan reacted on thisA TATA Enterprise SCAM Voltas Limited - A TATA Enterprise – This is completely unacceptable and misleading service. I raised a service request for my air cooler, and your technician contacted me for a visit. At no point during the call was I informed that a ₹590 visiting charge would be applied. The technician visited, checked the cooler, and clearly stated that there is NO issue — the water leakage is “normal.” After doing absolutely nothing, I was still forced to pay ₹590. Let me be very clear: * No prior disclosure of charges * No repair or service performed * ₹590 charged just for saying “it’s normal” This is not service — this is unfair customer practice. Even after escalating to the manager, I was told this is a “standard visiting charge.” If that is the case, why was this not communicated before the visit? As a customer, I feel misled and taken advantage of by Voltas Limited — a brand that claims trust and transparency. I am attaching the payment screenshot as proof. I expect: * Immediate refund of ₹590 * Written clarification of your service charge policy * Accountability for lack of transparency If this is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate this matter to consumer forums and raise it across platforms. Awaiting a quick resolution. #Voltas #ConsumerRights #UnfairCharges #CustomerExperience #RefundNow (An Issue happened with my friend)

Jithil P Ponnan liked thisJithil P Ponnan liked thisI got the call. And just like that, everything changed. I started my career in financial services straight out of university because that was the logical next step. I’m a complete newcomer to the tech world, Google was never a part of the plan. It was a journey, a lot of ups and downs. I found an opportunity that I actually wanted to pursue and I applied. The process was long and honestly humbling. Two weeks ago, I walked onto campus. Impostor syndrome hit immediately. But Google has a way of making you feel like you belong and I am exactly where I needed to be, at the right time. Today, I’m here as a Project Management Apprentice and I don’t have big words for this. Just truly, truly grateful for this opportunity. This one means a lot. #Google #LifeAtGoogle #GoogleIndia #ProjectManagement

Open source contribution to SVAR React Gantt SVAR UI Widgets I am trying to replace the existing drag engine with a fully RAF-based split engine cutting React reconciliations from 60 per second down to 1 during drag. Key improvements shipped: RAF-based drag replacing setTimeout(100ms) ~6x smoother The result is a drag experience that operates at GPU thread speed rather than fighting React's reconciler at 60fps. Crafting a Scalable Real-Time Interaction System with Redis: A Deep Dive into Integrating Character, Environment, and LLM Services This Redis real-time interaction system tutorial will guide you through building scalable, low-latency systems that integrate Redis with character environments and LLM services. Understanding the Problem What is the System? This system is designed to manage real-time interactions within a virtual environment, where users control virtual characters, interact with the environment, and receive responses from a machine learning model (LLM). The goal is to maintain high performance and scalability while ensuring that interactions are processed instantly, reflecting changes in both characters and the environment. Functional Requirements Start by defining the core functional requirements of the system, which should focus on […] Read More - https://lnkd.in/emt9mvVd

Release 2.1.0 It is a big step. Now you can define custom "apply" methods: "apply_to_text", "apply_to_whatever you want" and combine this transforms in Compose, in a standard way. This is one of the features, that we were thinking about for year. Finally implemented. Maybe because multimodal data is the new big thing, or maybe because it is the time to expand Albumentations to other, more complex and exciting domains. Also added eight new transforms.

Instead of hitting the database for every request, one can now cache session data in Redis, drastically improving performance. ⮑ 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Configure host and port details in the connector page, then validate the connection. ⮑ 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀: • Check if the session ID is already cached in Redis. • 𝙄𝙛 𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙: Retrieve and return it directly. • 𝗜𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱: Add it to Redis and confirm storage. • Configuring Redis 𝗔𝗗𝗗, 𝗚𝗘𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘 operations through the API builder interface. ⮑ 𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Flexible options to either continue or terminate workflows on failure. 🤖 AI x PHP - Neuronv2 🤖 The release of Neuron V2 framework enables building real multi-agent systems in PHP - using event-driven workflows, streaming updates and human-in‐the‐loop interventions. "This implementation demonstrates that sophisticated AI architectures are no longer exclusive to Python. For teams with substantial PHP expertise, Neuron v2 removes the primary arguments for switching to Python for AI development. Complex agentic workflows are now feasible within the PHP ecosystem, using familiar patterns and deployment infrastructure." Has PHP has finally become viable for serious agentic / AI architectures, not just Python? https://lnkd.in/eWpFerVq

"Architecture is something that has to emerge naturally from the code." A powerful, pragmatic philosophy from our latest guest on Tech Lead Journal (#232), the legendary creator of Hibernate, Gavin King. This code-centric approach is a crucial reminder to avoid "ivory tower" architecture and focus on what truly serves the codebase and the team.
